West Glover man wins Vermont Writer of the Year - Newport Dispatch

An EMT and former army officer and teacher who writes poetry but does not consider himself a poet is co-winner of Vermont Magazine/Green Mountain Power 2020 “Writer of the Year.”

“Creaven’s poem makes the Vermont countryside pop to life. A shed, an iconic silhouette along many Vermont roadways, is a central feature of this poem and Creaven was inspired by one in Waterbury."
