The 41-mile Vermont Gas pipeline built in 2017 in Addison County wasn’t built deep enough in some places, and didn’t have the “sign-off” of a professional engineer, the State of Vermont says.
“We don't believe there was a safety issue, but there was certainly a compliance issue that the board found in several instances,” said James Porter, the department’s public advocate."
