Vermont doubles down on electric vehicle push despite costs/environmental impacts – True North

Can the state realistically put 60,000 EVs on the road in six years, up from 3100 today. Should we?  

 

 

"Gov. Phil Scott is planning big improvements to the state’s infrastructure to accommodate electric vehicles, in addition to supporting further financial subsidies for Vermonters who wish to purchase these vehicles."

    It won’t take long to figure out just how well EVs will work in VT. Leave the state out of this and let the market sort it out. No amount of subsidies and incentives will get the public to spend hard-earned money on a white elephant.
