Vermont uses text messages to warn of COVID exposure, contact tracing – Burlington Free Press

"Vermonters who get text messages from 89361 have likely been exposed to COVID, and can expect a phone call from a Department of Health contact tracer. Texts, the latest in the state's early warning system for the coronavirus, will be sent out to potentially contagious contacts between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Commissioner Mark Levine said Tuesday during a governor's news conference. People who receive the text should immediately self-isolate at home to prevent spreading the disease until further notification, Levine said."
