Vermont inmates to stay in Mississippi, not move to Haverhill NH - Journal Opinion

Vermont Corrections officials talked with New Hampshire about moving prisoners in Mississippi closer to home in Haverhill, NH. But the talks never went anywhere and therefore neither are the inmates.

“The announcement last week came after DOC officials had contacted officials at Grafton County House of Corrections and other corrections facilities in New England about moving more than 200 inmates closer to home."
