Vermont gets federal $$ for more electric mass-transit vans - Associated Press

With a big bucks boost from Uncle Sam, Vermont’s public transportation fleet continues to “go electric.” Vermont now has 12 all-electric large vans.

"Gov. Phil Scott and the Agency of Transportation said this week that the funding from the Federal Transit Administration will cover 80% of the cost of the four vehicles, bringing the state’s total to 12. Green Mountain Express in Bennington and Rural Community Transportation in Lyndonville will each get two vehicles, which are smaller than buses and like large vans."
