Vermont businesses have been told to get in line Monday for federal stimulus money - and there probably won’t be enough for all applicants.
"Starting on Monday, businesses can apply for up to $50,000 in one-time economic stimulus grants paid for by the federal CARES Act. The grants are on a first-come, first-served basis for businesses with more than one employee that lost 75% of their business compared to this time last year. The state is rolling out $70 million to start-- not as much as the governor wanted but he says it's a good place to begin.”
