UVM students, alumni clamor to take care of cows in Dairy Barn - Eagle-Times

The First Law of Dairy Farming is: No Matter What, the Cows Must Be Milked. When pandemic sent UVM students home, students and alumni rallied to make sure the chores at the 100-cow UVM Dairy Barn were still getting done.

“The university’s beloved herd of about 100 dairy cows is normally tended by students taking part in the Cooperative for Real Education in Agricultural Management program, or CREAM. And without those students, the fate of the cows seemed to be in jeopardy."
