It’s not May, but most of the students of Vermont’s colleges are going home. Like so much else, the spring 2020 semester has been turned on its head.
"The school announced its decision to move classes online and ask students to leave the dorms in response to the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this week. "It's been the past couple of days that have been really difficult," said UVM junior Davis Auth, who was helping his girlfriend move out of her dorm. The university joined a growing list of schools and employers asking people to work from home to contain the spread of the virus."
