Travis Roy, advocate for disabled people, dies at 45 - Burlington Free Press

A man who was paralyzed 11 seconds into his first college hockey game and then became an inspirational advocate for disabled people and the spirit behind “Little Fenway” in Jericho has died.

"Roy died in Vermont, according to the Bostonia and the Globe. It was here in the Green Mountain State where Roy helped create an impactful and long-running wiffle ball tournament, held annually in August at Little Fenway in Essex."
