“It would be good to keep this town affordable for its lower-income, marginalized and young renters,” tenant Dory Hamm said. “We talk a lot about how to serve these communities and how to make sure Vermont remains a state for everyone. A civil ordinance would be an act in the interest of the general welfare of the people now and in the future.”"
