Almost a century ago, UVM zoology professor Henry Perkins pushed hard for eugenics - including sterilization of supposedly "inferior" Vermonters - to improve the quality of the average Vermonter. Today's white supremacy and "population control" movements both have historical links with Perkins. 

Stickers from a white supremacist group called Patriot Front have placed over signs for climate activist and socialist workers' groups. The group's website quotes Calvin Coolidge as speaking in support of race laws. 

White supremacist Max Misch, cleared of criminal wrongdoing in connection with Kia Morris cyber-stalking but charged with violating Vermont gun magazine law, has pleaded innocent to violating his conditions of release, Brattleboro Reformer reports. Is this just treatment, or singling out an adherent to an abhorrent, unpopular ideology?
