The Girl Scouts of America decided the appointment of only the fourth woman to serve on SCOTUS just wasn't worth it.
“The day after her confirmation last month the Girl Scouts congratulated Justice Barrett in a widely circulated tweet. Then, they quickly deleted it. Apparently,” writes Hawley, “it is too “partisan’ for the Girl Scouts to congratulate Justice Barrett on becoming only the fifth woman ever appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court since 1789.”
