St. Albans to ticket residents who won’t stay home, stay safe - St. Albans Messenger

You can’t say stay home, stay safe scofflaws haven’t lifted a finger in response to the Covid-19 emergency.

"SAPD Chief Gary Taylor told the council that most residents are complying with the order and keeping their distance from others in public. However, there are some members of the community who are not so cooperative. “They’re quick to tell the cops what they can do with the governor’s executive order,” said Taylor. They reply politely?” asked Mayor Tim Smith. “Seldom politely,” replied Taylor, adding, “in some cases it involves fingers.”"
