Fans of Dave Reece and Tim Thomas might disagree, but a case can be made that current University of Vermont men’s hockey goalie Stefanos Lekkas is the school’s best net-keeper, ever.

" Is it historic impact? Then Dave Reece is a strong candidate. He first carried UVM to hockey prominence in the early 1970s and was the first Catamount to reach the National Hockey League. Is it win-loss record? Then Tim Thomas of the mid-’90s is the unchallenged nominee with 81 victories, 18 wins more than the runner-up."
