VTrans has officially closed Rte. 108 through Smugglers Notch.

"Vermont 108, notorious for trapping 18-wheelers that refuse to abide by warning signals, stretches between Stowe and Jeffersonville. The area opens in the warmer months, offering commuters a chance to drive through and catch sights of foliage before closing back down as the weather turns."
