Gov. Scott: shrink Border Patrol search zone - State House Headliners

Like Sen. Patrick Leahy and Rep. Peter Welch, Gov. Phil Scott wants Congress to shrink the 100-mile Border Patrol search zone that covers virtually all of Vermont. Protecting our rights - or making it easier for illegal immigrants to enter?

Vaughn is so corrrect in his comments.
Scott is a disgrace to our state and the office of Governor.
Our border should be protected completely and in its entirety no matter how many miles, by our border patrol!!!!

Apparently, once Gov. Scott establisher his bona fides with his go along to get along approach and signed onto the left’s “thou shall not offend” mantra, nothing is off the table. The federal law which gives the border patrol the authority to stop and question the right of a person to be present in the UNITED States of America is offensive to the Vermont congressional delegation. The Vermont congressional delegation is so far left that any rational control of who is allowed to be present in this country is offensive to them. How blind are these leaders to reality and the recent past? Did not most of us recognize the recent anniversary of the 9/11 disaster?
