Angelo Lynn, one of Vermont’s most consistently liberal newspaper editors, has taken a deep gulp and endorsed Republican Phil Scott for governor. But Lynn - younger brother of longtime and more conservative St. Albans Messenger publisher Emerson Lynn - has also given Scott a long “to do” list: support solar power, fund childcare, and raise the minimum wage.
“Specifically, he must undo the damage he has done to the state’s solar industry in which he severely restricted community solar projects and diminished incentives to grow solar power and renewable energy policies. Jobs have plummeted in that industry since Scott became governor and it is 100% due to actions he has taken."
