Scott bans multi-household gathers, requires telework “to maximum extent possible” - VT Business Magazine

Are the new restrictions announced Friday the ‘tip of the iceberg’ of more restrictions on businesses and private gatherings? Maybe so, but some Vermonters are having difficulty with a ban on traditional family Thanksgiving celebrations and even walking outside with someone not of your household.

“Multi-household gatherings, including all public and private social, recreational and entertainment gatherings, indoor and outdoor, including large social gatherings incidental to ceremonies, holiday gatherings, parties and celebrations are suspended until further notice….. All businesses, non-profits and government entities shall reinstitute telework policies for all employees to the maximum extent possible. In person meetings are strongly discouraged and should be held by telephone or video conference whenever possible.”
