Sanders bill would ban fracking – Washington Examiner

A bill proposed last week by Sen. Bernie Sanders would ban hydrofracking, the industry responsible for low-cost, lower-carbon heating and transportation fuel. On to wind and solar, or back to oil and wood?

“Roughly 160,000 people work in the natural gas and mining extraction field, according to a 2019 report, and more than half a million people work in the natural gas industry as a whole. The bill has been criticized by many in the oil industry — including the American Petroleum Institute, which argued the bill would hurt workers and increase energy costs.

    And the left is worried about Trump ? This dipstick, “Democratic Socialist” wants to run our economy right into the dumpster in the name of Socialism. Send him back to Brooklyn ! He is not, nor will he ever be, a Vermonter, and every time I hear him referred to as such, that bit of ignorance makes me want to puke !
