Unknown predator kills seven goats on Benson farm - Rutland Herald

Whatever killed seven goats and injured six more wasn't a cat, state Fish & Wildlife experts say. The bodies were found uneaten and intact. There were no tracks. 

 

"WCAX-TV reports state wildlife officials granted permission to place traps outside of trapping season on the property in hopes to catch the predator."

    I know if they were my goats, I’d be finding a coyote hunter with dogs and take care of the problem.

    Pretty weird…..Fish and Wildlife thinks coyotes, but don’t they leave tracks? Don’t they stop to eat? I guess I don’t know enough about our next soon-to-be protected species (and I don’t mean goats).

    Chupacabra, maybe goataphobic Republicans, but my money is on little green coyotes from Mars !
