New 2020 laws address plastic, food scraps, dental care for Medicaid – Burlington Free Press

The minimum wage will rise slightly next month. That’s just one of the changes Vermonters will see due to legislation scheduled to take effect next year.

"The state budget allocates money to expand the amount of dental care available through the adult Medicaid program beginning in January. The new bill will raise the dollar cap for dental treatment to $1,000 and allow adults to get two preventative dental visits without having those appointments count toward the cap.
