Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger calls the Trump administration’s reduction of 12,000 legal immigrant entries into the U.S. an assault on the legal immigration system. Mr. Mayor admits that most immigrants settle in the Burlington area. Maybe Vermont’s dwindling number of immigrants has more to do with housing costs and lack of good-paying jobs?
