Iraq War Congressional Medal of Honor winner visits Norwich - WPTZ

Sgt. David Bellavia won the Congressional Medal of Honor for rescuing his unit under fire in Fallujah in the Iraq War. He visited Norwich University to talk soldier-to-soldier to the nation's future warriors.

"The retired staff sergeant said he thinks that wearing the award is more difficult than earning it. "Those men that I served with in two infantry and the men who died they are with us every single day. This gives me an opportunity to celebrate what they meant, to explain to so many people what they gave for me personally. I mean I'm here because of my soldiers and what they risked for me and many of them lost their lives," Bellavia said."
