McKibben praises Digger, 7D comments shutdown of “soreheads and malcontents” - True North

He didn’t use the “deplorable” word like Hillary Clinton, but progressive writer and Middlebury College professor Bill McKibben is pleased that the “small number of soreheads and malcontents who monopolize such venues” no longer have a forum in VT Digger and Seven Days comments sections. Shutting down public discussion is a good thing - get it?

"“Both have done something unusual and useful during the pandemic: they have shut down their comments sections. They did it to make sure that people weren’t spreading bad information about public health, but the secondary effect has been to isolate the small number of soreheads and malcontents who monopolize such venues.”

    If there is a better example of a "malcontent " than Mckibben, I cant see it !
    He exemplifies the radical left wings weakness in their arguments, if they cant win the debate, they block and shut the rest of us down, if they hear an opposing view, they wipe us off the pages of printed record, if they cant convince the majority of their dooms day predictions they call us soreheads, deplorables and worse.
    They are weak, simple minded and truly devoid of any critical thinking

    Discontent, and differing opinions are much easier to deny if they are not in writing.
