According to a leaked memo, Massachusetts State Police expect Antifa to leave large urban areas and take their mischief to small towns. Small towns just south of the Vermont border are under observation.
“In a June 1st email to city councilors, Mayor Linda Tyer says “a large contingent” of state police are situated at the city’s Second Street Emergency Operations Center. She says the move is part of a broader effort by state police to increase their presence throughout the commonwealth’s rural communities. While no specifics are mentioned in the email, Tyer says the state police strategy is supposedly in response to the threat of “Antifa interference” spreading outside of metropolitan areas as protests continue following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody."
