Louras used semi-automatic rifle to fire into Rutland PD – Rutland Herald

Police have released a photo of the firearm used by Chris Louras Jr., 23, to fire into the Rutland City Police Department Tuesday morning in a “driveby”. He was later shot and killed by city police, who have been identified. No word yet on whether the firearm was acquired legally.

"Police announced Tuesday they believed Louras had fired two shots using a Smith & Wesson M&P-15 rifle at the police station around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday."

    Yup, another incident with one of those "Scary " black Firearms, let’s
    not mention anything about the " 23" year old " Nut Job ".

    Let’s see Mr. Louras, opens fire on a Police station, sounds like a pretty
    normal thing to do…. right but it all about the weapon.

    Be it that he purchased it, stole it, borrowed it the issue is that he was
    a "nut Job " and someone or everyone that knew him, knew it !!!!

    Blame the Cops for defending themselves ……..
