House, Senate agree on $12.55 minimum wage – VT Digger

A conference committee of House and Senate leaders has agreed on a minimum wage bill. Assuming it passes as agreed – will Gov. Phil Scott sign it?

"After 2022, wage increases would be tied to inflationary increases based on the consumer price index. Vermonters working at the current minimum wage — $10.96 — would see a $1.59 raise over two years. The bill is headed to a vote in the House this Friday. House leadership will have no problem getting the majority it needs to pass the minimum wage proposal, but whether it can muster the 100 votes needed for a veto override will be tested Friday.
