House bills allow hunting rifle suppressors, change Town Meeting law, remove parental consent from teenage vax - Vermont Daily

A bill introduced yesterday would free teens age 16-18 from needing parental consent to be vaccinated.

“Legislation introduced in the Vermont House today include bills to:
Eliminate parental consent for age 16-18 vaccination
Change Town Meeting voting law re: pandemic
Fund mental health workers for police departments
Require universal home visits for families with newborns
Eliminate conflicts of interest among Climate Council members
Tax candy and sugared drinks
Provide free breakfast and lunch for all public school students
Allow hunters to use noise suppressors on their firearms"

    Regarding the House bill allowing suppressors to be used on firearms
    for hunting. (H5) My objection used to center around it making it easier for deer jackers to fill their freezers, and not get caught. From my more recent experiences around my area in the last few years, they have already found a better option, crossbows .
