Who are the movers and shakers in the national and statewide races? What issues are motivating voters? These are the questions we set out to answer.

A few key takeaways we found were that Sanders is clearly consolidating support in his race, likely due to his recent victories in Iowa and New Hampshire. He moved up 23 points from our September Poll, soaking up more than half of undecided voters. Buttigeig has increased his support by 10 points while Biden has faded.

Governor Scott still holds a commanding lead over the rest of the field, but has slipped somewhat since September, likely due to the entry of a primary opponent. Zuckerman has also clearly consolidated the Democratic base, showing more double digit increases from September. However, if you tally all the democratic challengers votes together, they are still trailing Scott.

Thank you to anyone who participated in our survey. If you missed the opportunity and want your voice counted, you can still participate online here: vtwatercooler.com/february2020survey

I received this automated survey call too. I was not an option for Lt. Governor in this survey. Why is that?
