Dozen Democrats qualify for Vermont presidential primary in March – Fox 44

A dozen candidates have qualified for Vermont’s presidential primary on Town Meeting Day. Sen. Corey Booker of New Jersey is not among them.

“In order to appear on the ballot in Vermont, candidates must file a petition signed by 1,000 registered Vermont voters. The deadline to file was Dec. 16. According to the Secretary of State, another candidate, Julian Castro, was granted supplementary time to get his name on the ballot. On the Republican side, President Donald Trump, Bill Weld and Roque de la Fuente have qualified to be on the ballot.
