Democrats to vie for Bennington house seats; Morrissey to run for 13th time - Bennington Banner

There will be at least two Democratic primaries for Bennington County House seats, as incumbents either choose to not run or are running as independents.

"Another political newcomer, businesswoman Jamie Dufour of Manchester, will compete in the Democratic primary in the Bennington-4 District. She is running against incumbent Rep. Kathleen James, of Manchester, and former state Sen. Seth Bongartz, also of Manchester, for two Democratic spots on the Nov. 3 ballot. Incumbent district Rep. Cynthia Browning, of Arlington, a longtime Democrat, said recently she will run as an independent in the fall, facing the two winners in the Democratic primary for the two Bennington-4 seats."
