Dartmouth University endowment rises to $5.7 billion - The Dartmouth

2018 investment returns of 7.5% were down from 14.6% the year before, but it was still enough to increase the Dartmouth University endowment fund to a hefty $5.7 billion, The Dartmouth - "America's Oldest College Newspaper, founded 1799" reports. Let's hope they're generous with the scholarships at the school on the NH side of the Connecticut River -  in March 2018, total tuition, room, board, and mandatory fees increased to $70,791.

"In the past fiscal year, the College spent over $250 million from the endowment for its annual operating budget — a roughly five-percent distribution rate."

How many years of free or reduced tuition would that turn out to be?
