Visitor quarantines, no travel, dining hall restrictions, masks, social distancing, and behavior contracts - that’s the new look at Vermont college campuses no fall. Jury’s still out on close-contact sports.
"The guidance policy includes preventing infected students from going to campus by requiring a mandatory quarantine and screening for all, reducing the number of visitors on campus, health safety contracts signed by students similar to UVM's Green and Gold Promise, and testing at every campus. Schneider says most schools will have modified calendars including sending everyone home early at Thanksgiving, hybrid classes, and restricting all travel. Schools will also reduce density in dorms and dining halls. Students and staff who break the rules will be held accountable including possible termination for employees and dismissal for students.”
