Colchester diner reopens after owner dies from Covid-19 - WPTZ

The Guilty Plate is famous for serving awesome diner food. Now the owner is gone, but his mission continues.

"The restaurant's re-opening was a bit delayed, as owner Evan Alvanos passed in April due to an illness caused by COVID-19. "We sort of looked around at each other and asked some deep questions about whether or not it was right to continue to move on," said Michael Alvanos, Evan's brother. The Alvanos family has owned successful restaurants in the Chittenden County area, including the Parkway Diner in South Burlington and the Pine Street Deli in Burlington."
